TAMPA, FL – (April 5th, 2022) – After a successful 20-year career in clinical psychology, Kevin Wint has answered the call to become the local “Paramedic of Property Damage” in his community with the opening of PuroClean of Tampa Palms. Wint and his team of highly trained technicians will service Tampa Palms and surrounding areas of Hillsborough County.
PuroClean of Tampa Palms will offer property owners services for water damage, fire and smoke remediation, mold, and biohazard removal. With the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) predictions of a “slightly above average” hurricane season for 2022, Wint and his team of trained technicians will provide the necessary support to southwest Floridians whose properties are affected by severe tropical storm and hurricane activity, among other available services.
“Property remediation services are important in my community because severe weather can be very destructive to homes and businesses in this area,” said Wint. “I’m honored to build a business that will have a very real impact on the lives of my customers, and I’m eager to serve my community through this endeavor.”
A native of Jamaica, Wint relocated to South Florida at the age of 12 with his family. Upon graduating from high school, he enrolled in the U.S. Army, where he developed an interest in technology. When his time in the service came to an end, Wint pursued his bachelor’s degree in information technology and completed his A+ certification. From there, he went on to work for various technology companies managing databases, networks, software applications, and more. With his technical abilities and leadership skills, Wint continued to expand his knowledge, quickly becoming involved in leadership roles, managing teams, and taking the lead on project management. While he furthered his career, Wint simultaneously furthered his education, earning an MBA from the American InterContinental University. Making the transition into restoration entrepreneurship, Wint is eager to employ his servant heart to make a difference in his community through his PuroClean business, providing essential support to property owners in Tampa Palms.
