Our Story

Nine miles east of Denver, Colorado, situated at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, sits the city of Aurora. Aurora’s mild and dry climate boasts more than three hundred days of sunshine yearly. This weather lets visitors enjoy its five golf courses, one hundred and three parks, two reservoirs, and over five thousand acres of open spaces and trails. Aurora is home to major industries such as aerospace and defense, renewable energy, bioscience and health care, and transportation and logistics, drawing many people to its more than four hundred and fifty neighborhoods.

Downtown Aurora offers various shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Other destinations include Stanley Marketplace, The Wreck Room Escape Game, Cinemark Century Aurora and XD, AMC Dine-in Southlands 16, Southlands, Vintage Theatre, Bally’s Arapahoe Park Horse Track,  and Launch Pad Brewery. Among Aurora’s historical offerings are Buckley Space Force Base, Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum, the Aurora History Museum, and the Colorado Freedom Memorial.

Aurora’s Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, Plains Conservation Center, Aurora Reservoir, Great Plains Park, Cherry Creek State Park, 12 Mile Stables, and Aurora Sports Park provide outdoor enthusiasts with opportunities for hiking, basketball, walking, fly fishing, downhill skiing, rock climbing paddle-boarding, hot-air ballooning, snowshoeing/cross-country skiing, mountain biking, road biking, horseback riding, and fitness stations, picnic shelters, and playground areas.
