In the spirit of Labor Day, PuroClean’s Home Office team members took a delightfully sweet approach to honor the city of Tamarac‘s hardworking staff, elected officials, and first responders. At our core, we believe in establishing solid relationships within our community. To show our gratitude for those who lead and serve our city, we stopped by Tamarac City Hall with tasty treats.
Some “Sweetness” on Labor Day
Tamarac is more than just a city to us; it’s our home. PuroClean has been a part of this tight-knit community for nearly two decades, growing alongside it and forging lasting connections. Our commitment to giving back has been an integral part of our journey, and this Labor Day was no exception.
We arrived at Tamarac City Hall with a savory surprise on this particular day. We wanted to thank everyone, from clerks to city management, including Mayor Michelle J. Gomez and commissioners, for their dedication and tireless efforts in making Tamarac a prosperous and welcoming community.
Our involvement in the community goes beyond just this Labor Day event. We’ve opened the doors of our Home Office training facility to Tamarac firefighters for training exercises, welcome visitors every month for instruction, and routinely accommodate business groups for special meetings and after-hours events. In 2019, we even invited city staff and commissioners to experience the “Flood House,” a fully-equipped, built-to-code one-bedroom, two-story home located inside our warehouse facility, which is used to train our technicians in the art of water damage restoration, as we held our 100th flood celebration. One city staff member we encountered at City Hall on our pre-Labor Day visit shared he was so impressed to see the Flood House in action that he left with a profound new outlook on property damage restoration and the quality of training provided by the PuroClean Home Office!
The community partnership we have with Tamarac is mutual! We are actively engaged in local chamber and city events throughout the year. Additionally, we have hosted numerous Tamarac North Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce meetings at our offices. Through our community involvement, we have had the pleasure of interacting with the city staff on a more intimate level. We are very familiar with their challenges and friendly demeanor as they serve our constituents, and we are honored to see their collective commitment to the community’s well-being firsthand.
As we continue forward, we anticipate a long and rewarding relationship with the city of Tamarac. Our dedication to building connections, supporting our community, and honoring our local heroes remains unwavering. This Labor Day was just a small token of our appreciation for the incredible work done by Tamarac’s city staff, commission, and first responders.
