PuroClean of Buford Opens, Providing Property Restoration Services to Local Communities

Buford, GA – (July 22, 2021) – Entrepreneur and former IT consultant James Stern has answered the call to become the local “Paramedic of Property Damage,” with the opening of his new PuroClean franchise in Buford, Georgia. After an extensive career in IT and consulting, Stern will now lead a team of highly trained technicians to help both home and business owners with their property remediation needs.  PuroClean of Buford is certified to provide water, fire, mold, and biohazard removal, including advanced COVID-19 cleaning procedures.

“I am proud to create a family-owned and operated business that caters to the specific needs of our local community,” said Stern. “Providing needs-based services is new to me as a business owner, and I don’t take this responsibility lightly. I am appreciative of the support I’ve received from the PuroClean home office and truly believe that being able to support property owners in my community is going to be fulfilling and rewarding long-term.”

Throughout his career, Stern has worked in an array of roles across the foodservice, construction, IT, and project management fields, including owning multiple companies. He launched his first business at age 18, providing computing services to banks, local and state agencies, accounting firms, and more. After selling that business in 1987, he entered corporate America, filling consulting and management roles for major brands such as GE, Westinghouse, AAA, FedEx, and E*Trade. Since 2018, Stern has served as a freelance IT consultant for various Fortune 500 organizations. Stern’s team includes his sister Susie, who will serve as operations manager, and his son Patrick, who will work as a service technician and his apprentice.
