A retired couple recently called PuroClean for fire remediation. They live in Nashville, a rural town in Illinois. With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic this job was poised to be a challenge. But, thanks to the hard work of our team, we were able to restore their damaged home quickly.

Our crew understood there could be some difficulties because Nashville is about an hour away from our Caseyville location. When COVID-19 is factored in, the task at hand becomes even more challenging. But our team would not let anything prevent them from helping the residents.

We arrived and immediately inspected the house for the extent of damage. Several bedrooms, the kitchen, and the living room all experienced various degrees of effects from the fire. Also, there was a noticeable charring on the walls, floors, and cabinets.

Our crew began the restoration by focusing on removing the soot. After we sanitized and deodorized the house, we were able to begin the reconstruction process. This process included replacing the radiant heat system with a forced-air system and re-insulating parts of the attic.

This job was a bit of a challenge, but it was hard for the clients. We were adamant about not letting this restoration take too long, for their sake. Ultimately, we were able to complete it efficiently and the relieved couple was very thankful.
