PuroClean Rescues a Basement in Hilliard After Sump Pump Failure

Many homeowners went away over the winter holidays only to come home to find their basements wet. We had some heavy seasonal rains which caused sump pumps to be running more often. Restoring the Flooded Basement

The family had just returned from vacation only to find their newly remodeled basement had a sump pump failure. They have two younger sons who use the basement a lot and they were devastated to see what had happened to their favorite area of the house.

Since they weren’t able to catch it quickly, too much time had gone by and it was determined their new carpet couldn’t be saved and would have to be removed. Before we could replace the carpeting, we had to dry the basement out thoroughly first. Our technicians set up powerful air movers and dehumidifiers to begin the job of extracting all that water from several areas in the basement. Once completely dry, we were able to install the new carpets.

We provided an initial free estimate to the homeowners as they wanted to get an idea of the cost and wanted to understand their insurance coverage for this type of loss before proceeding. Once we completed the task and the final price was lower than the initial estimate, they were thrilled. They graciously gave us a fantastic review as well.
