Owned and operated by former ICU nurse Elisha Gumbo, PuroClean’s newest “Paramedics of Property Damage” will now lead a team of highly trained technicians to provide flood remediation, fire restoration, mold & biohazard removal services to the Moreno Valley, Riverside, Redlands, and Grand Terrace areas, among others.
“Opening my own business has been a personal goal for a long time, and I’m excited to hit the ground running with my new PuroClean office,” said Gumbo. “It’s so rewarding knowing I am taking care of others. Giving back is the reason why I practiced nursing and ultimately why I chose to join PuroClean, which lets me help my community in a different, yet essential, way.”
Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Gumbo received his business administration degree from Andrews University in Michigan. He spent the first five years of his professional career working in the United Nations (UN) in Mozambique as an administrator in the procurement and logistics department. After that, he emigrated to the United States, moving to California, and earning his MBA in 2003 from Azusa Pacific University. Later, Gumbo earned his Bachelor of Nursing degree with a critical care focus and entered the healthcare industry. Most recently, he worked as a nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles.
