“Coronavirus” is an umbrella term for many types of viruses that have been known to cause respiratory diseases in both people and animals. The 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19; previously 2019-nCoV) is a new strain that has been recently discovered and publicized worldwide. PuroClean Home Savers uses the PuroClean RapidDefense™ system to provide deep mitigation cleaning in areas compromised by a Coronavirus or Influenza outbreak. Using this process, the team at PuroClean Home Savers will carefully contain the area and will minimize the risk of pathogens spreading using The Environmental Protection Agency-registered (EPA) products. If there are any lingering odors, our trained technicians will deodorize the area and return your Columbus/Galloway/Grove City, OH area property back to its pre-loss condition with empathy and care.
An extremely effective way to slow the spread of the virus is by the deep mitigation cleaning of all touch-point surfaces, along with the use of EPA-registered disinfectants. This level of cleaning can be done in commercial properties, institutions and residential homes alike. Currently, the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread, causing government leaders and healthcare officials to urge the public to take every possible precaution for personal protection. The coronavirus cleaning services we offer assists in reducing contamination risk related to the COVID-19 outbreak. Contact your local PuroClean office for additional information to find out how we can assist you in the cleaning of your property.
The virus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person. This includes individuals who are close to one another (within about 6 feet) and through respiratory droplets becoming airborne when an infected person coughs or sneezes. These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs.
There is a possibility that COVID-19 can be spread when someone physically touches an object or surface with the virus present, then touches their mouth or nose. The CDC reports that this type of spreading is very likely.
We begin by completing a full assessment of your home or office premises. We will then decide what level of containment you need and pass on the plan of action to you.
Initially, Puroclean technicians will arrive at your home or business and conduct a preliminary inspection to check that the area is ready for our cleaning services. Afterwards the plan of the work is determined by our technicians, in order to complete the project as expeditiously as possible.
It’s imperative that PuroClean conduct all biohazard removal with maximum caution and a strict adherence to OSHA, Industry and safety standards. Natural fabrics, rugs, curtains, and upholstery should be cleaned in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
For the disinfectant of clothing, linens and other personal fabrics, the affected articles should be laundered per label instructions. NOTE: washing machines should be thoroughly cleaned after washing contaminated materials.
Tanned leather materials – We can wash these materials by wiping the surfaces with a cloth lightly moistened with disinfectant solution or disinfectant towelettes.
Suede and Nu-buck leather material – Cleaned according to manufacturer’s guidelines.
Plywood, wood, block, cinder block, concrete and OSB (Oriented Strand Board): Cleaned by the application of disinfectant solution onto the surface.
HVAC system – HVAC internal duct surfaces and components should be cleaned in accordance with industry guidelines by a licensed HVAC contractor or NADCA certified duct cleaner. External duct surfaces, grills, grates, and registers should be cleaned using a disinfectant solution.
Typically, when the infected area is cleaned and starts to dry, odors will go away. However, our crew will decide when further deodorization is required.
