Food Drive for Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin

Last week, PuroClean of Green Bay, Wisconsin proudly hosted a Food Drive through Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin. Hunger is a big concern in eastern Wisconsin, where one in seven people don’t have enough food to properly feed themselves or their families. But no one should go hungry, especially during the holiday season.

That’s why we’ve joined the holidays giving campaign that’s organized by Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin. Our mission as restoration specialists in Green Bay, Wisconsin, has always been to help those in need of damage restoration services in our community. Food Drives give us an opportunity to extend our help to those who suffer from a different kind of adversity.

Our Food Drive holiday campaign lasted from December 10-13 and was a great success. We brought donation bags to insurance agency offices in the counties we service, which greatly helped us gather plenty of food for those who need it most. Their generosity is very much appreciated. By December 18, we delivered all the items collected to the Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin Food Bank in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin provides food to meal programs, churches and food pantries in eastern Wisconsin. They are the largest hunger relief organization in the state with food banks located in Milwakee and Appleton. Their sole mission is to end the hunger that so many people face.
