Why do we offer it?

Our owner, Jeff Rush, experienced a situation where a family member of his passed away. The whole family had to come together to help with the clean-up. After that, Jeff purchased his PuroClean Franchise in 2005! As a PuroClean owner, he was asked if he WANTED to offer Biohazard services. As a PuroClean mitigation company, you do NOT have to offer Biohazard services. Jeff said YES! He stated that no family should go through what his family went through. Jeff wanted to provide this service to HELP other families in this specific time of need.

Price – Why is it so expensive?

There are many reasons why Biohazard is so pricey. We have a type of liability insurance that we must purchase to be able to do this type of work. We are putting our technicians at risk every time they do a Biohazard job. Because of the risk, we have to give our technicians extra training so they know what they have to do to stay safe! We also have to have MANY disposable suits, gloves, and protective wear for each of our technicians. This is called PPE – Personal Protective Equipment.

There are many companies who also over-charge for Biohazard services. Since there is such a need for it, companies can charge whatever they want! There isn’t much of a standard for pricing Biohazard work. Our PuroClean franchise takes PRIDE in wanting to HELP people. We try our very best to have affordable Biohazard services. Due to our pricing, we even have corporate insurance companies contact us to re-quote finished jobs so they don’t get taken advantage of. WOW!
