The client lived as a retiree in a large subdivision of a local suburb. When we first arrived on site, we quickly recognized the language barrier. While the client did speak some English, it was not her first language and some misunderstandings were arising.

Our technician Everett, however, was very understanding. He contacted the adjuster and asked them to be a liaison. This solved the initial problem. However, the challenges did not stop there. Unfortunately, the damage was greater in scope than we had first anticipated. Our crews had to perform demolition on the floors to access much of the damage.

In total, the water damage affected 7 different rooms throughout the home. The adjuster explained to the client to clarify just what our reconstruction team would be doing.

In all, the job took roughly 7 days to complete. We had to removed carpeting and hardwood flooring, as well as dry out the substructure underneath. The client was very happy once she received the clarification. She appreciated the fact that we were straightforward and did not sugar coat things.
