Our Story

Along the Susquehanna River sits Harrisburg. Harrisburg is a town with a more than 200 hundred-year history. Harrisburg is the capital of Pennsylvania and the home of the Pennsylvania State Capitol Complex and the State Museum of Pennsylvania.

The city of Harrisburg maintains twenty-five parks and recreation areas that offer various outdoor activities. The largest of these parks is Reservoir Park, where the National Civil War Museum is located, City Island, the home of FNB Field, which is the ballpark for the MiLB Harrisburg Senators, Riverfront Park, with its walking paths and concert stage, and Italian Lake with its 0.7-mile loop trail, which is frequented by birdwatchers, hikers, and trail runners.

Harrisburg is also only a short drive from Hershey, Pennsylvania, the home of the chocolate-themed amusement park Hersheypark and the North American wildlife park ZooAmerica.

Other popular local destinations to visit in the Harrisburg area are the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center and the Broad Street Market,
