Former Insurance Claims Specialist Opens West Summerlin PuroClean Business

SUMMERLIN, Nev. (October 22, 2021) – Steven Lai is the latest “Paramedic of Property Damage” to join the PuroClean franchise network with the opening of his new business in West Summerlin, Nevada. A former insurance claims specialist turned restoration entrepreneur, Lai holds numerous IICRC certifications in Health and Safety, with expertise in bloodborne pathogens, water damage restoration, applied microbial remediation, applied structural drying, fire and smoke restoration, odor control, and lead removal services. Along with a team of highly trained technicians, his PuroClean of Summerlin West franchise location will provide restoration services and more to property owners across the area.

Prior to launching his PuroClean business, Lai spent close to a decade managing claims for complex loss projects at State Farm. His experience with water and fire property damage gave him the necessary tools and understanding of the restoration and remediation industry to open a successful PuroClean franchise location. Originally from Wyoming, Lai has lived in Nevada since 2008. Having a home in such a dry climate, he is also aware of the devasting effects wildfires can have on communities. After volunteering with mini-catastrophic personal property loss claims, Lai turned his claims experience into an actionable service to operate an independent water, mold, and fire remediation company.
