Our Story

Located approximately 70 miles from the Gulf of Mexico is McAllen, TX. McAllen is a city in Hidalgo County, one of the four counties (Starr County, Hidalgo County, Willacy County, and Cameron County) that make up the Lower Rio Grande Valley. The Rio Grande Valley region, known for its palm trees, exotic birds, citrus orchards, tropical breezes, and mild winter weather, is a major destination for national and international visitors during the winter.

Originally a farming community, McAllen has become a shining example of what the Rio Grande Valley area offers residents and visitors. Viewed as one of the best places to live in Texas, McAllen offers a suburban residential lifestyle with access to many parks and activities. It is also a shopping mecca for millions of visitors annually.

The McAllen parks and recreation system has eighty-nine parks offering hike and bike trails, facilities for gatherings, and sporting activities. McAllen also has nature sites like Quinta Mazatlan World Birding Center, McAllen Nature Center (formerly known as McAllen Botanical Gardens), and Town Lake at Fireman’s Park, where visitors can fish, kayak, bird watch, and learn about nature.

McAllen’s historical points of interest like Quinta Mazatlan, McAllen Heritage Center, Veterans War Memorial of Texas, and the McAllen Public Library (which is possibly the largest single-floor public library in the nation).

Other points of interest are the McAllen Convention Center, Oval Park, the Payne Arena, and the International Museum of Art and Science.

Among McAllen’s many shopping and dining options are La Plaza Mall, Palm Crossing Mall, and the Mercado District.

The Rio Grande Valley is located in a floodplain near the mouth of the Rio Grande river, which makes it susceptible to flooding. It is also an area impacted by tornadoes and high winds and therefore requires a property damage restoration and remediation company that will be there when a residential or commercial property requires restoration or remediation services. Restoring properties damaged by water or fire with integrity, honesty, and empathy and exceeding the customer’s expectations by providing them with the highest level of service is the goal of PuroClean of McAllen.
