Rough day at the office? Hopefully, it’s nothing like having your 11,000 square foot office space flooded. Unfortunately, a commercial shared office space in Aventura was not so lucky. When a broken AC cold water supply line ruptured, the office manager called PuroClean for the flood cleanup.

Our crew showed up to the scene swiftly. We understood that we had a limited time frame to complete the work, with the building being a commercial property. The facility contained more than 30 individual offices and conference rooms. And water damage was present in all of them.
The most challenging obstacle present, and a frequent issue at large-scale jobs, was the energy capacity to connect all of the equipment needed in the dry-out process. The job required the use of more than 20 dehumidifiers and 80+ air movers, due to the layout of the office space. To overcome this, we spread out and pulled electricity from different floors to effectively dry out the entire space.
The entirety of the job lasted 7 days due to the sheer magnitude of the flood. We broke up our restoration into two stages. Our team completed the first stage in the first 4 days, so the office could return to functioning. After that, we were able to finish off the final details of the restoration over the course of the next 3 days.
