PuroClean of Montgomery is a locally owned property restoration company offering water damage restoration and fire damage restoration, mold removal, odor control services, and biohazard cleanup services to residential and commercial properties.  We offer local, reliable and fast property damage restoration services.
We service Selma, Calera, Millbrook, Montgomery, Greenville, Clanton, Wetumpka, Prattville and surrounding areas 24 hours a day , 7 days a week. Our average “on-site” time is 60 minutes and we work directly with your local insurance provider. Hunter's background includes working for a regional third-party claims management and insurance support company and most recently with a local regional bank in the company's commercial banking group. Laura Smitherman

Laura Smitherman

General Manager

Laura joined the PuroClean team in 2017 and has over 10 years of experience in the restoration industry. She oversees both mitigation and reconstruction divisions of PuroClean in Birmingham, Montgomery, and Tuscaloosa, including project management, estimating, and day-to-day operations of the business.

Shonta Barnes

Mitigation Manager

Shonta, PuroClean of Montgomery's Mitigation Manager since November 2023, brings over 20 years of restoration industry experience and holds an IICRC certification. With a background as a Contents Manager for over five years, her dedication stems from a deep passion for assisting clients through challenging moments.
John Bullock

John Bullock

Business Development Manager

John joined the PuroClean team in August of 2020 as the Business Development Manager. John has worked in the restoration industry for several years and is WRT certified through IICRC. After graduating from Auburn University, John moved to Utah where he lived for six years. During his time out west, he enjoyed skiing during is free time.

Office Manager

Kati joined the PuroClean team in December 2021 as the Office Manager. She graduated from Gadsden State with a degree in Applied Science of Radiologic Technology. Kati has extensive office management experience from previous positions. In her spare time, Kati enjoys spending time with family, fishing, scrap booking and crafting.

Marketing Director

Allie joined the PuroClean team in January of 2020. She attended the University of Georgia where she received a degree in Marketing and received her Masters in Marketing at the University of Alabama. In her spare time, Allie enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
