Initial Inspection and Mitigation Efforts
Upon arrival, the team conducted a thorough inspection and found moderate moisture damage in a corner of the living room. The affected materials included drywall, insulation, and laminate flooring. To prevent further damage, we quickly deployed industrial-grade drying equipment, placing one dehumidifier and four air movers in strategic locations.

Demolition and Containment Measures

Then, with the help of a KettSaw, we carefully cut and removed large sections of drywall, ensuring a clean and efficient removal process. Once the drywall was cleared, we removed the wet insulation and carefully extracted the affected floor planks.
Thorough Cleaning and Microbial Prevention
After demolition, we focused on detailed cleaning of the structure and affected materials. Every nail and screw was removed from the framing to prepare the area for repairs. We then performed a comprehensive HEPA vacuuming of all surfaces to eliminate dust and debris.
To ensure a safe and sanitized environment, we applied an anti-microbial spray throughout the affected areas, followed by a thorough wipe-down of all surfaces. With the work zone fully cleaned and prepped, we repositioned our drying equipment to target any remaining moisture in the newly exposed areas.
Final Restoration and Readiness for Repairs
By the next day, all materials had reached proper drying standards, marking the successful completion of our work. The condo was now ready for repairs, with a fully restored and safe environment for its occupants.
