About the Owner:
Thomas is an award-winning executive with more than 20 years of successful experience from the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan to boardrooms in the US.
A native of Spartanburg, Thomas attended the Citadel on a partial Air Force scholarship graduating in 1998. His first duty assignment in the Air Force was Minot Air Force Base in Minot, North Dakota where he supported B-52 combat operations in Iraq and Eastern Europe.
After 2 years in Minot, he was selected for Air Force Special Operations at Hurlburt Field, Florida. While there he led all logistics support for the ultra secret black ops cell where he supported 117 combat missions in 21 different countries including Afghanistan and Iraq.
After leaving Florida, Thomas was handpicked to head the Air Force’s largest War Reserve Materiel Program supporting ongoing combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was responsible for a $120 million yearly budget, over 20 sites in 10 different countries, $5 billion worth of equipment, and over 1700 personnel.
Thomas was recruited to the civilian sector to be the Chief Operations Officer for a small business in Michigan after almost 9 years in the Air Force. While there, he grew the company from 20 to 60 employees and from $30 million to more than $55 million in annual revenue. Two years after moving to Michigan, he and his wife decided to move back home to Spartanburg and go into business for themselves.
They started a PuroClean franchise and serve the Upstate whenever someone’s home or business suffers from the devastating effects of water, fire, mold, or biohazard damage.
Thomas has been honored with 18 awards for professionalism and leadership including the United State’s Air Force #1 Logistics Readiness Company Grade Staff Officer of the year, US Central Command Air Forces Lance P Sijan officer of the year, Tuskegee Airmen Company Grade Officer of the Year, and in consecutive years was the Logistics Officer of the Year.
His hobbies include reading and spending time with his two smart and beautiful daughters.
