Our Story

Based in Sterling, VA, our restoration company is locally owned and has been been in operation since 2008. We service the Northern Virginia region, including Ashburn and Leesburg, but we also can service D.C., Maryland, and West Virginia, depending on the nature of the job and the situation.

We provide water damage mitigation, flood water removal, fire and smoke damage remediation, mold remediation and removal, odor remediation, biohazard cleanup, hoarding cleanup, and other property disasters. Owners Rick, Dennis and Brett have lived in the Northern Virginia area for the majority of their professional careers, and have been in the restoration and construction industries for a combined 50+ years. Rick Van Dyke

Owner

A longtime resident of Loudoun, Rick is grateful to have raised his family in this wonderful community. He has worked in property restoration and construction-related industries for 25+ years. In earlier years, he served as a teacher, which shaped his mission to be a "servant-leader" -- to continually educate our clients, so they feel informed and comfortable about the remediation process. Rick is always happy to answer questions, share the latest expert knowledge, and give trusted advice.

Dennis O'Brien

Owner

Dennis has worked in the restoration industry for 25+ years, and has always loved going above and beyond to help people in their time of need. He also strongly believes in supporting our staff with continuous training, growth opportunities, and employee appreciation events. Dennis has been honored for his commitment to community service with the national PuroClean Cares Award. As Dennis says, "if you have the ability to help others, then you should take it on and do so as much as you can."

Brett Dalrymple

Owner

Brett has worked in the construction and restoration industry for 25+ years, and makes sure we operate at a highly organized and efficient level, so that our team can provide the most responsive and thorough service for our customers. Brett also strongly believes in "giving back," which is why he received PuroClean's national headquarters' PuroClean Cares Award, honoring his commitment to community service and support of charitable organizations.

Tiffany Jones

Lead Technician

Tiffany is one of our Lead Technicians who knows how to appreciate the little things in life. An energy drink enthusiast, her go-tos are Celsius and Red Bulls. Tiffany prioritizes her family time above all else and loves her role as a doting aunt to her nieces and nephews.

Derek Metcalf

Lead Technician

As a Lead Technician, Derek ensures that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Born in Maryland but raised in picturesque Shenandoah Valley, he is passionate about football, cars, and music. Derek's motto is "Behind every great day is a cup of coffee," so there's no denying he knows how to start his day on the right foot. He is also a proud father of two girls and a boy.

Kevin Lugo

Technician

Kevin is a skilled technician who's as passionate about cooking and rugby as he is about restoring properties! Kevin's love for cooking stems from his desire to create something delicious from simple ingredients. He is also a dedicated rugby player, taking the field every chance he gets. When he's not in the kitchen or on the field, Kevin enjoys spending time with his tight-knit family.
