9/11 Event For First Responders Hosted by PuroClean

We are forever indebted to emergency personnel in our communities. In honor of Patriot Day, on September 11th, we hosted a community event for first responders where they could receive complimentary cleaning for their vehicles, as well as free food and a chance to relax and socialize. Our marketing rep, Liz, also made a connection with the Stone Park PD.

Connecting With Our Heroes

Liz initially met Chief Pavini of Stone Park PD for the routine Census. During their conversation, Chief Pavini shared how their station just received a cleaning from another company because one officer had potential exposure to COVID-19. Naturally, Liz was excited to make a connection.

Coincidentally, PuroClean of Wood Dale had been putting together an event for first responders offering complimentary vehicle sanitizing. Happily, Liz informed the Chief of her line of work in restoration service and told him about the upcoming event. Chief Pavini wanted to be a part of it when he heard about it. He explained that 2020 has been trying on everyone, and he sincerely appreciated the outreach by the restoration community.

The Chief sent two of his officers and squad cars to attend the intimate event. But, he was so impressed with our team and facility that he requested additional cleaning for the rest of his vehicles, as well as the Stone Park station. PuroClean then offered to do the work as a complimentary service as an extra “thank you” for attending the event.  Since then, the Chief has also introduced us to the Stone Park Fire Department, as well as Northlake PD.

Slide Ride Food Truck and Catering sponsored the event and provided all of the delicious food. Thanks to them, the event was a great success and gave us a unique opportunity to open our facility doors to the community, to show them the extent we go to take care of their restoration needs.
